Will St. Joseph Really Sell My House?

joseph & familyEver since the mid 1980s, realtors and sellers of homes have increasingly been practicing the tradition of burying a St Joseph statue.  This tradition is said to aid the process of selling real estate property.  In fact, realtors believe that by burying a statue of St Joseph, the sale is not only successful but also speedy.

Many realtors and sellers have reported successful real estate sales by burying a St Joseph statue.  While this is a popular practice, there are many people who want to know if St. Joseph will really help sell a house.  The only way to invest in this belief is to hear firsthand accounts of people who have done it before.  The following accounts are about individuals who followed the instructions of burying a St. Joseph Statue and reported a successful sale.

A woman who lived in Maryland decided to move to Arizona.  In order to move, she had to sell her home in Baltimore.  She placed the home for sale and it remained on the market for eight months.  The property was not selling and during ht eighth month, she decided to send a statue of St. Joseph to her real estate agent along with some burial instructions.  Two weeks after the burial of the statue, the property sold.

A realtor from California recently purchased a St Joseph selling kit for a property that was not selling.  This property was on the market for six months.  The realtor buried the statue of St Joseph in a cactus plant pot due to a lack of a yard.  After a week passed, she received an offer and sold the property in cash.  This realtor recommended the burial tradition to numerous other sellers who also reported back with success stories.

A couple listed their home for sale in October of 2008 and buried a statue of St. Joseph in the property.  They also had a statue of the saint by a willow tree in front of the house.  Every now and then, the couple would see a flash of light from the statue near the willow tree. Every time the light flashed, the realtor would call the next day to set up a showing.  Within a few months, the property sold.  The couple then went to dig up the statue right after the closing and found that St Joseph was not there.
